Each club is Individually designed and boasts a central London location. The clubs challenge the monotony of standard gyms with unique features and materials to make members feel comfortable and inspired.
Third Space appointed Washroom as their chosen developer for a new project within central London. Washroom has grown to become one of the leading providers of high specification commercial washroom, toilet and shower cubicles, vanities, lockers and benching together with a bespoke joinery service for sectors including commercial, health leisure, education and the public sector.
Mega Glass has a long standing supplier relationship with Washroom and have worked with them on various projects to provide innovative architectural glass solutions.
The Third Space project was another example or our commitment to deliver exceptional service and solutions.
Scope of Work:
Design consultation, manufacture and supply of a series of bespoke doors, pilasters and screens for installation in high-end washrooms in the Tower Bridge area.
As a regular supplier to Washroom, Mega Glass was asked to work with the team to produce the client’s request for printed glass panels to a given design. Fundamental to success was our ability to interpret the continuity of the design idea across multiple panels.
Several print options were considered within which gradients of colour and shading were explored including digital printing, sandblasting and back- painting. Ultimately, screen printing was identified as the approach that best delivered the clients aesthetic demands as well as practical suitability for the wet room environment.
Mega Glass carried out the glass processing including cutting, grinding, hinge and handle cut-outs, polishing, toughening and printing works and delivered the glass to the clients site for installation by others.
A unique, eye catching and consistent book-matched pattern that was screen printed onto 10mm toughened low iron glass, across a ten metre run. The final result created a suite of stunningly functional shower enclosures that enhanced the overall appeal and look of the changing areas within the health club.
